About Kore Dance Center
Kore Dance Center is a studio dedicated to sharing the passion of dance through education in a multitude of styles for ages two through adult. Our instructors have extensive backgrounds in the styles of ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, and musical theatre. Our doors are open to all people who are looking to explore the art of movement through dance.

At Kore we believe everyone should have the opportunity to experience what dance has to offer. Our dancers learn important lessons to enhance both physical and mental well being. Physically our dancers participate in an array of movement patterns while improving strength, flexibility, balance, endurance, coordination, and body awareness. In addition to the physical benefits of dance, our students learn how to improve focus, discipline, work ethic, and self expression.
Our studio’s history dates back 38 years. Kathy’s Dancenter, the original KDC, was founded by Kathy King in 1987, who after a successful career in inspiring past generations through dance, chose to retire in June 2025. KDC is now under the new ownership of Rebecca Korejko and Andrea Walk, who prior to taking over, worked for Kathy King for more than 20 years.
Kore Dance Center, the new KDC, while pulling from the past is also excited to mesh with the present and explore the future of dance. As we all know, dance as an art form is progressive and constantly evolving. We can’t wait to meet you and start you on your dance journey.

When we first started here 8 years ago, I never imagined the amount of growth, both as a dancer and as a person, that we would see in our daughter. The teachers here are more than instructors; they are role models, encouragers, and cheerleaders who believe in every single student.
I’ve watched my child’s confidence blossom, their skills soar, and their passion for dance deepen in ways that I didn’t even know were possible. She has learned dedication, perseverance, and the joy of working hard for something she truly loves. Every class is filled with positivity, encouragement, and a sense of belonging that you simply can’t find everywhere.
KDC isn’t just a dance studio, it’s a family. They celebrate every milestone, lift the kids up on hard days, and inspire them to be the best versions of themselves, both on and off the dance floor. I am forever grateful for the love, patience, and care the KDC team pours into their students. We are very blessed to have been a part of KDC history and the future of Kore!

My daughter has been dancing at Kathy's Dancenter for years. When it was announced that her 2 favorite dance teachers and mentors, Miss Andrea and Miss Becca, were taking over, it was a no-brainer that Kore Dance Center would remain her dance home. There is nothing that these 2 women, in fact their entire staff, will not do to help their students achieve success. They are always working to bring out the very best in their dancers. I've watched my daughter excel under their guidance and I know that the trust I place in the entire staff of KDC is entirely justified.
